Use Microgynon and Prevent Pregnancy

Contraceptive pills, also known as birth control pills, have now become a basic necessity for women who are willing to prevent unplanned pregnancy. This in turn prevents release of an egg from the ovaries. Second, entry of a sperm is made difficult by thickening the mucus in the cervix.

Finally, the Microgynon pill alters the womb lining in a manner that an egg, if released and fertilised, is unable to attach and grow further. This pill is required to be taken for 21 days of your 28 day menstrual cycle. A break of seven days is then to be taken, during which you are most likely to have withdrawal bleeding. You should bear in mind that it is important to take one Microgynon 30 pill at the same time every day in order to be completely protected against unwanted pregnancy.
